Danny Glover exists to empower, encourage, and equip individuals and organizations to maximize their potential. His speaking and writing are intentionally encouraging. His coaching is empowering. His personal growth and leadership development training equips people with the skills they need to grow and lead themselves and others.
Danny is a veteran of the US Army, having served on active duty for nine years. For almost six of those years, he was a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Benning, GA and Ft. Knox, KY. He served with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam in 1970 and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.
After his military service, Danny pursued a college education. He graduated with honors from Baptist Bible Institute (now Baptist College of Florida), then received his BA degree from Dallas Baptist College (now University), graduating Cum Laud. This was followed by graduating with honors from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.
Danny served as the senior pastor of four churches in Florida, Texas, Kentucky, and North Carolina. All of those churches experienced growth and either renovated current facilities or built additional space during his tenure.
In 1994, Danny was certified as a Human Behavior Consultant, Trainer and Coach by Personality Insights, and launched Relationship Dynamics as his first company.
In 2000, Glover was hired by John C. Maxwell’s INJOY Group as a Senior Consultant. With INJOY, he worked with churches and other non profit organizations develop leaders and stewards. During his six years with INJOY, Danny received four leadership awards.
In 2006, he launched Glover Consulting Services which focused on personal growth and leadership development with individuals and organizations, and leadership and stewardship development with churches.
In 2012, Danny joined the John Maxwell Team as a certified speaker, coach, and trainer. His business has expanded and he is coaching entrepreneurs, business owners, athletic coaches and teams, and has had the privilege of encouraging others with his speaking.
Through his journey, Danny has grown to realize that his sweet spot is speaking and coaching others to maximize their unique potential. His “down home” humor, experience, expertise, and passion for adding value to people has been the keys to his success.
Danny and his wife, Dianne, have two sons, two wonderful daughter-in-laws, and four phenomenal grandchildren. Danny and Dianne live in Durham, NC, and are very involved in their church.
